Which class is right for me?

If you are new (or even not so new) to pickleball, understanding the rating system can be challenging.  Having a rating is not necessary, but it gives you a general idea of your current skill level.

Beginners (2.0 - 3.0):

Maybe you took an Intro to Pickleball class, hit some with friends, or even got a new paddle for Christmas.  Now what?  Where do I go next?

Well, you've found the answer:  Green Zone Pickleball, the next step on your journey.

Beginner classes are centered on learning the fundamental aspects of the game including dinking, serving and returning, transition zone play, proper swing and positioning techniques, volleying, and ground strokes.  These essential skills make up your necessary foundation for long term success and enjoyment of the game of pickleball.

Check out my Camps and Clinics to see what's right for you, or schedule a private lesson.

Intermediates (3.00 - 3.50):

You've been playing for a little while, but are you struggling with consistency and pop-ups?  Having trouble with bangers?  Having a hard time maintaining dink rallies?  Maybe lacking depth and placement on serves and returns?

Intermediate instruction is designed to take your basic skills to the next level.  You'll learn how to win more points through consistency, shot placement, and anticipation.  Now is the time to develop the soft game, an essential skill for competing at higher levels, and a great way to diffuse bangers.  Learning when and where to drive and attack will earn you more points.  The implementation of strategies and proper court positioning will bolster your doubles game.  Whether it is a camp, clinic, or private lesson, you will get the results you're looking for with Green Zone Pickleball.

Advanced (3.75+):

You're at the point where you are seeking tougher opponents and/or want to compete at higher levels in tournaments, but there are few weaknesses or bad habits holding you back.  Perhaps you just need a way to tie it all together.

Strategic instruction is your ticket increasing your rating.  My extensive tournament experience and success is at your disposal.  You'll learn to keep opponents on the baseline, reset from the transition zone, set traps for easy offense, and have the confidence to play any style of opponent.  Now is the time to eliminate weaknesses and harness your strengths with a private lesson.
